Bosworth provides steel rolling services using both cold and hot rolling processes according to the client’s requirements. Various steel grades are rolled, welded and tested as required.
The plate rolling department operates 4 sets of modern plate rollers with a capacity raging from 4 mm to 50 mm, depending on the width of the steel plate.
Bosworth has the capacity to roll plates ranging from 40mm to 80mm in thickness, subject to plate width.
Bosworth manufactures pulleys in an ISO 9001:2015 accredited factory, ensuring that the client’s requirements and application -specific standards are met. Bosworth uses both NC (Numerically Controlled) and conventional machines operated by skilled artisans. All pulleys are manufactured in accordance with SANS 1669 standards.
ULTRASONIC (UT) TESTING
All long and circumferential welds are UT tested according to AWS 1.1 quality.
